While most kinds of heart disease are less in young people than in older people, there are several conditions which affect children or young adults and which could cause these symptoms.

Tell your doctor.:  Is your heart rate always that low?  Some of your blood pressure readings are low as well. The fact that you have chest pain &amp; dizziness  with exercise is concerning. I agree with earlier recommendation. Please let your prescribing doctor know promptly and hold off on the exercise until then.

Doctor can evaluate: Chest heaviness and palpitations can be due to minor problems or to very serious ones. An ER doctor can check to see what might be going on. Sometimes, tests and chest x-rays will be done. Possible causes include angina or heart attack (bad stuff), partial pneumothorax (collapsed lung), asthma, reflux, heart arrhythmias, etc... One should not wait around with such symptoms.

Could be reflux. : While I would encourage you to pursue confirmatory diagnostic testing, I can tell you that those symptoms can be seen with gastroesophageal reflux.

Left arm pain: could very well be anxiety but has to be checked oiut from a cardiac standpt.  Women do not have the classic pains associated with angina when they are in the forties and above,  is there a family history of heart disease?  if yes, the cardiac workup is even more important.  good luck and feel better.

Get him checked: by an allergist, seems that he has reflux, may be the cause for the barking cough, source of cough needs to be investigated, repeated cough can cause headaches, chest discomfort and palpitations also needs to be evaluated either by his doctor or a cardiologist
