May want further evaluation: Unilateral (one sided) sensory or sensation issues may originate from an ‘insult’ to the brain, like a TIA(transient ischemic attack) or a type of stroke. Sometimes poor nutrition or mineral/vitamin deficiencies can affect nerves and sensation as well. A discussion and evaluation by your doctor to determine risks for each issue and/or exam findings may help determine the cause of your symptoms.

Esophagus: It sounds as if you may be having some esophageal dysfunction.There are non propulsive tertiary waves which may occur in patients, which cause pain with swallowing , due to spasm, as the contractions are not productive. I suggest you see a gastroenterologist (gi specialist) who can assist with diagnosis. Good luck.
