Strep avalox: Avelox has active ingredients of Moxifloxacin hydrochloride. It is used in sinusitis, infection, pneumonia, bronchitis, bronchial infection. Common side effects of Avelox include rashes, anaphylaxis, breathing difficulty, dizziness, nausea.

It should help but occasionally there are resistant germs.

Very likely: It seems like you have tonsillitis which are most commonly caused by viruses and bacteria. Azithromycin (z-pack) is a pretty good antibiotic for bacteria such as strep. Viruses usually run their course within a few days however can sometimes last longer when mononucleosis (mono) is involved. If it does not improve, then I would suggest getting tested for mono.

just want to know if im healing properly. 2 days in to cephalexin and i still have some white pockets in throat on tonsils. but pain has reduced a little. and no fever. im just nervous. i want to be sure im on the right path

i have noticed my tonsils change shape regularly, new pockets are forming and they are changing constantly over the last 6 months. is that' normal?

Be examined: In the absence of an active infection of the tonsils and if they are not grossly enlarging in size, I don't believe this is a major problem.  To be safe, this should be examined by a doc and perhaps a throat culture should be done.  The tonsils are corregated in appearance normally and may change normally in shape from time to time, to a minor degree.

woke up this morning with pus on my tonsils. the left side has good size pockets of pus and the right has barely any. and it doesn't hurt.

Tonsil: Its hard to say especially since you've provided no information about yourself not even your age let alone medical or social history and no pictures. If you are concerned please consult your physician for an exam.

Any bacterial infect: Any bacterial infection can cause exudate on the tonsils.  But pockets full of white discharge may be food particles stuck in small pockets or crypts.  These are called tonsil stones. Many times what are thought to be pus pockets are these tonsilliths.

Be seen...: "A mass" isn't descriptive enough to hazard a guess as to what you are noticing.  This type of thing needs to be seen by a physician.  Tonsillar tissue can grow back, but an exam is required to see if that is what you are noticing.

If caused by strep,: Then yes. If caused by mono, no. If deep inside the tonsil, sometimes surgery is necessary.
