Yes: The rda for carbohydrates in pregnancy is 175 grams daily.  Your diet should contain a wide variety of carbs and flax seed can be  a healthy part of your daily intake.

i wanted to know if it is safe to eat cassava/yuca flour during pregnancy i was at a brazilian restaurant and ate the cheese bread balls and they are made with cassava/yuca flour and i have read things that says not safe and it is safe ?

: Yes, you can eat that flour during pregnancy.
In my country (Vietnam) most pregnant ladies eat that without any problem. I practiced medicine in my country in the 70s before immigrating here.

i eat bread with flaxseed, barley, rye, wheat .  are flax seed and rolled barley safe to eat during pregnancy? should i stop eating multi-grain product?

Eat your grains...: The grains are all fine.  Avoid foods are : uncooked meat, fish and poultry. Unpasteurized dairy, fruit and vegetable juices.  Raw sprouts.

if a person has penicillin allergy, is it safe to eat roquefort, blue, or gorgonzola cheese? does the mold in the cheese make penicillin?

Accepted Answer

Should be fine: Penicillin was traditionally isolated from specific molds, but the concentration is very low.  I am unaware of this ever being a problem, even in the case of severe allergy.

when eating bread for breakfast it felt like it was getting stuck in throat. became too scared of choking and didn't eat all day. is it safe to eat?

Dysphasia : Most likely no pathology. If recurrent symptoms, will need to get it checked. Also drink water while eating bread

Not Likely: A little blakish grayish spot  is small mold and will not cause any GI or other problem

: It will not do any harm to eat 3 day old bread. If you have excess bread than you expect to consume, you can store it in the freezer and thaw it as needed.

: Unless you are immunosuppressed, eating moldy bread is not a cause for concern.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

i ate bread that i bought more than a week ago. 2-4 hours later i'm farting a lot and i think i got some symptoms of food poisoning. how long will it last? is it due to the bread? only 2 slices that i didn't eat had visible mold on them?

: The intestinal gas (farting) may be due to large intake of insoluble fiber undergoing fermentation in the intestine. It should be a transient matter and is not likely to cause any lasting damage, as long as you are not immunosuppressed.

Not bad: Aside from the yucky taste, there is no harm as your digestive track will get rid of the mold. Donate the rest of that loaf to the ducks at your local pond.
