Head trauma: You must have really hit the head. A year out is a good sign that there was no serious injury to you. However with such force it is going to take more time to completely resolve.

Possible Cyst: This could be an early ganglion cyst.  A ganglion cyst is a tumor or swelling on top of a joint or the covering of a tendon (tissue that connects muscle to bone).  The exact cause is unknown. They are not serious when small but can grow.  If they get large, they can be painful and may need to be removed surgically.

Lichen nitidus: Very difficult to say without seeing. I would recommend seeing a dermatologist.  There is a rare skin condition characterized by  tiny, skin-colored, glistening bumps on the surface of your skin known as lichen nitidus (lie-kun ni-tie-dus) . This results from inflammatory activity in the skin, but the cause of inflammation is unknown.  Treatment is usually not needed, as it gets better on its own.

Take it easy: It's unlikely those bumps on the neck will give any serious problems. Just keep that area clean and avoid squeezing them.  If you still notice them after a week, then check it out by your doctor.

Could be allergic or: hyperhydrosis: a skin condition from excessive water or washing: usually simple oTC hydrocortisone cream (1%) pea- sized drop will help.
