What symptoms ?: Htlv and HIV are virus- they can give the same vague type of symptoms like other virus infection. Htlv infection is not common- unless if you do live in the endemic area- like in japan -for instance-then perhaps your risk is more relevant.  My suggestion, if to f/u with your md and repeat the HIV test again. And please do practice safe sex

Good to get tested: HIV has variable symptoms according to stage of disease and it is not appropriate to go by symptoms. It is good that you are getting tested.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Specific diagnosis: For hiv. While the symptoms of two disease may have some similarities, there are specific tests for diagnosing hiv. Your doctor can order a test for HIV if you have any reason to believe that you may be infected. The cause of chronic fatigue syndrome is not known and there are no diagnostic tests for this malady.

Early HIV symptoms: You can't tell difference between influenza (flu) & early HIV symptoms so prevention is best bet. With that said, you can't get HIV by sharing a cigarette so don't sweat it. On the other hand, if you've engaged in other practices (such as unprotected sex) that increase your risk for HIV & other stds, go see your family doc (or planned parenthood or county std clinic) for testing.

Retest: If the tests are negative, that should be reassuring.  However, if this is something that keeps you up at night, you should retest.  If negative, that should settle it.

i had an unprotected sex 6 weeks ago. both of us tested negative at 6 weeks mark with cmia duo lab test, but i had symptoms similar to mono 1.5 weeks later, fatigue and mild rash are still present. what could it be?

: The negative test result overrules your symptoms. It is impossible to have symptoms from HIV and no antibody in the blood. You definitely do not have HIV. There are many medical conditions other than HIV that can cause such symptoms. See a doctor if the symptoms continue and/or you remain concerned. Good luck.

Too many questions!: HPV and HIV are both viruses transmitted sexually but not similar at all.  HPV does not produce symptoms except for genital warts and may lead to cervical cancer.  Can test females with a cervical swab but there is no test for males and no test or indication to test for oral HPV infection. HPV does not cause death in males.
