Laser Therapy/others: These are spider veins and needs to be examined and if that is what it is,it can be treated with v beam lasers,microphlebectomy or injections.Lasers are the preferred method as it is non invasive and effective.Consult a Dermatologist or a Plastic Surgeon

Probably: Small blue veins are commonly seen in mouth. The thin membrane of soft palate can allow the veins to be seen thru the skin. They may become more apparent with age like under the tongue. But it you should have it examined by your dentist to be safe.

noticed blue veins on my 5w baby's right side of the head that feel dented to the touch. i'm scared because i don't know what they are. please explain?

Newborn head: The veins are easy to see and feel on a newborns head. Also, the head can be misshapen fro the trip down the birth canal. This does not sound like anything to worry about. But for your piece of mind, have your pediatrician examine the baby.

Normal: Children often times have very visible veins on their face usually because their skin is fair and the blue veins are easily seen.  As they grow and the skin changes these veins should become less obvious and prominent.  This appears to be a normal variant.

Maybe bad valves : One reason is xs fluid or poor heart function. However at your age if you are in good health and active , poorly functioning valaves in the veins of your legs may cause blood to pool there . This would not explain the veins in .your arms and neck Sometimes normal veins arr prominent in thin people

Many reasons: Some people are just prone to prominent veins, but others may have an underlying vein problem. Would recommend seeing a vascular surgeon in your area.

Obesity: Being overweight is the likely cause. Losing weight is easier said than done, but there is no substitute for it. You may consider joining a support group like Weight watchers.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Not necessarily: Pathological superficial arm veins are not usually flat but are distended and Don't collapse when elevating the arm above the shoulder.  However if the vein pattern is noticeably different in the left arm in comparison to the right arm, consult your physician or a vascular surgeon for evaluation.

Anatomy: It does not sound normal. New and prominent veins could represent obstruction of deeper veins and represent something significant. Please have your family doctor take a look.

Get seen by a doctor: You need a doctor to determine if they are new onsent, painful, painless, normal, etc. Clinical breast examination, risks for breast disease, etc.

They can be either normal or a sign of a medical condition. You should get seen by a physician.
