Benign: Can be seen in previous infection (tb, fungus), and less common problems such as sarcoidosis and silicosis.

Old infection?: Usually this is not serious at all, just a sign of a distant past infection, now cured. However, it due to past tuberculosis, an antibiotic might be recommended to prevent reactivation in the future. Discuss with your doctor; if she seems uncertain, perhaps see a pulmonary medicine specialist.

: Previously seen lymph nodes in the chest, once inflamed are now cold and unchanged. Typically seen after infectious and non infectious conditions affecting the lungs, it reflects no current condition, rather chronic changes following insult that happened in the past.

No: The other main possibility would be inflammation, especially if you are getting over a pneumonia or a respiratory infection.  But if you have a history of cancer, this should be investigated to make sure it is not cancer.

Yes but: It could possibly spread to local lymph node but the chances are very low. The lymph nodes that are in thoracic cavity are even less likely to contain metastatic tumor from a stage 1a endometrial cancer, especially if it's a garden variety low grade lesion. In fact, long term survival is very good, like 95%. The other 5% may represent very high grade tumors.

Yes: "no growth" is "good" Has your Doctor investigated the possibility that you have SARCOIDOSIS..more common African Americans it is a relatively common reason for the findings you mention

See below: What difference would it make if the long axis upper limit is 1.5 or 2.5 cm? Do you have any symptoms? Why was chest imaging done? All imaging results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests.

blood test sgot/alt 40 abnormal high, lymph 1.1, abnormal low, w/all mediastinal & bilateral hilar nodes enlarged + virchows node.  what could it be?

Until proved not...: ... Our principal concern is cancer. I would draw no conclusions from the lymphocyte count, the SGOT / alt being somewhat high is merely suggestive, but the big nodes are going to require biopsy. Maybe it's a medication reaction, sarcoidosis, or any of a host of other possibilities. But we want to get at the truth. Good luck.

inactive sarcoid dx.-12mm subcar. lymph-1cm bil. hilar. 1yr ct shows subc. node is 1.5cm-rt bil. hilar is 1.7cm, -left hilar is1.3cm.  active sarcoid?

Possibly: There are also questions of plane of focus for imaging. When you have the test taken, you may be a few millimeters off in your breathing or how you are lying. So, anything that has only a few millimeter change may not be significant.
