Old infection?: Usually this is not serious at all, just a sign of a distant past infection, now cured. However, it due to past tuberculosis, an antibiotic might be recommended to prevent reactivation in the future. Discuss with your doctor; if she seems uncertain, perhaps see a pulmonary medicine specialist.
