Possibly: Unless you have had a hysterectomy, the vagina and uterus separate the rectum from the bladder. That being said problems with any of the the three can be manifested in the others. Best to see you ob-gyn and then a GI or colorectal surgeon.

Muscle strain: absolutely.  most of or abdominal muscles originate or end at that point on your body.  watch for pain with urination or blood in your urine.

E. coli: A significant source of e. Coli is feces. Especially in women, with the short length of the urethra ; the closeness of the anus to the urethra, a urinary tract infection can be due to e. Coli infection from the person's very own e. Coli. While it is possible that e. Coli could come from another source like a toilet, it probably is not present in large enough amt or enough contact to be the source.
