Not unusual: Your bladder may be reacting to caffeine, coloring or one of the flavorings. Consider giving up coke!

what could be the cause of frequent urination? i don't drink sodas. i drink tea and i go pee at least 6 times during the day and 4-6 times every night

Urinary frequency: Several possibilities. If small amounts with urgency or pain, a urinary tract infection is likely. Possibly overactive bladder. If large aounts of urine, i.e. bladder usually is quite full, then diabetes is probably the most likely possibility. Seriously abnormal kidney function could do it. Or hormonal problems, especially one called diabetes insipidis. Some of these are serious; see doctor soon.

Nocturia: Nocturia refers to frequent nightly peeing that interrupts sleep. While you're a bit young, enlarged prostate (more common in older men) can cause this, or be aggravated by over-the-counter antihistamines &amp; decongestants. Perhaps your Cardiologist gave you a water pill that's supposed to make you urinate. If so, ask about taking in AM rather than PM. Bottom line, chat w/your Family Doc &amp; Cardiolog

why do i have frequent urination after drinking a glass of water (0.3 l - 0,5 l)? i am a young male, is this concerning? what test should i get? i pee 2-3 times after a glass of water. no hurt, pain or blood. while i pee i can stop when i want?

: This can become a habit or reflex activity. Try to divert your attention after drinking water by any activity if your choice e.g music, movie, computer, meditation and hold it for longer periods each time. If this does not work you will need to see a Urologist who will decide what if any tests you need. I think you will be fine'

Varies widely.: The daily number of voids can vary widely, depending on fluid intake and fluid losses, bladder capacity, sensitivity to bladder fullness, and external cues. As a urologist, i'd say 4-7 times daily is a reasonable estimate. If you void more or less frequently than this it can be normal, but if you are concerned i'd bring it up with your physician.

UTI? Diabetes? OAB?: If you're urinating a lot because there's a lot of urine, i.e. full bladder each time, diabetes is the most common cause -- especially if at risk (overweight, family history, etc). The most common cuase of frequent, urgent urination is urinary tract infection (UTI), especially in women. Other common causes include overactive bladder, anxiety, and STDs. For sure see your doctor soon.

Doctors: Alcohol and caffeine are diuretics and make one  pee more. But if used in excess one can become dehydrated.

Possible, but also..: Other causes include large prostate if you are a male above 50 and leg swelling. The water redistributes when you lie flat at night and exits through urination. Other causes include diuretics e.g. Water pills, caffeine, or beer at night.

See below: Frequent urination can mean going often , but not large amounts
so it appears that when you drink fluids they are passing through you, so even if you do not drink , you will go. So it is better to prevent dehydration that you drink when you are thirsty
frequent urination has many causes , including infection, bladder dysfunction etc.

Good: This is not a bad thing. The kidneys need to hydrate. Now first begin by seeing your doctor to check for a urinary track infection if negative just drink your water and relax. Water is very healthy and necessary for your system
