Pharmacology: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) has a half-life of approx. 12 hours and it takes 4 half lives for the drug to be eliminated from the body. Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) can stay in your system for approx.. 48 hours if not reintroduced to the body.

Declare it: If you truly took it accidentally, there are 2 possibilities.  If  prescribed, you should be fine taking it, nothing to hide, it should appear in your active meds. If this was prescribed to something else in the house and you took it by mistake you still should be fine as long as you declare it. Otherwise how do you explain taking "accidentally" medicine that was not supposed to be around you?

Maybe: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is converted to amphetamine.  The conversion takes place slowly, and continues even 24 hours after ingesting the drug.  If you were tested on Sunday, you would definitely have amphetamine in your urine.  But amphetamine is cleared very quickly, so once the Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) has been converted, the amphetamine will quickly disappear.

Will it disappear by Monday?  That's a toss-up.

You have Rx: Even if your urine comes up positive for amphetamines, you have a prescription as reason to be on them, so will be able to show bottle or Rx (get it renewed / refilled ASAP) when follow up is done.

Take prescription: bottle with your name on the label with you &amp; it won't matter. If you've been on it for more than 7- 10 days, it will show up as amphetamines/methamphetamines on a hair test. It can show up for ~ 3 days in urine, but it could be longer, depending on your weight, metabolism, etc., but there's no need to stop it as long as you take your bottle with you.
