son  3 weeks post microdisctomy.  leg pain gone but can't sit more than 20 or 30 min w/o pain.  dr sent son to pt at 2 week.  is this reason to worry?

No: The surgery helps the leg pain but will not give immediate relief for the back pain. Pt is appropriate and should help. Time will also help.

do i need to worry about bloodcloths if i have leg pain and weird movement in my leg? like an insect walking in my leg?have it for 4d coming & going

Probably Not: Blodd clots do NOT typically present with weird movements and are more more associated with symtoms such as localized pain, pain with motion, swelling, and redness. Weird movement sensations are more typical complaints of a nerve related or Neuropathic condition and should be evaluated by an appropriately trained provider of your choice.

4 y/o w/intermittent leg pain at night and a 2cm movable lymph node in neck for 3 mos. cbc showed slightly high mvc , all else normal. should i worry?

Surprising answer: I have seen many children witrh what used to be acceptable as "growing pains". They are caused by inefficient metabolism in the tissues of a rapidly growing child and it is a reflection of empty calories inducing relative vitamin deficiency----hence they really are "growing pains"!  they do  respond to appropriate diet and vitamin supplements. pain in lowerd left back and side pelvic pain on left side but just started on a scale of1 to 10 pain is an 2 sometime i feel leg pain also left side feet to 33 don't have kids worry it might be cancer?

Unlikely: It is more likely a neuropathy - ie a nerve being pinched in your low back.Common causes are a disc bulge or herniation, but even more often it is due to dysfunction of a vertebra which could easily be fixed by osteopathic manipulation.A good history & phys, incl hands-on osteopathic exam should help determine the cause &, manipulation could fix certain problems immediately.

dr said i had superficial clot on shin & not to worry buti have leg pain and now pvc's, single scary thuds.can i take baby aspirin? saw him 2 days ago

Superficial clot: The superficial clot likely has no relationship to the PVCs. It may be causing pain. Taking an ASA one a day is no problem and can prevent clotting. All the best. If the PVCs are frequent, see your doctor.

middle back pain in a 11 yo. started when school began. has to carry a back pack- mildly heavy. doesnt play sports. poor posture. always had low muscle tone. also c/o leg pain 1-2 week from walking so much. hes pretty sedentary. pain mild.worry?

: My first take on a pain complaint at that age is to believe them and evaluate them in the office. Sometimes testing is needed. There are some simple explanations but a few unusual ones that can be more important.

If you continue to: vomit, you are losing important electrolytes to stabilize your body's fluids, and this could shift and cause more problems. Then, you'll have to get IV fluids in your via the urgent care center or ER if you can't hold down fluids to replenish the dehyration that's being caused by the stomach upset, vomiting cycle. The rest could tie easily into your current symptoms. So see your doctor ASAP!
