chronic constipation laxatives don't work what else can i use?

OK: This is constipation! a hi fiber diet, 20-25 grams of fiber per day, drink 80-`100 ounces of non caffeinated, non alcoholic fluids daily and increase your fluids if you do strenuous work or exercise. Do not use harsh laxatives.
Excess fiber in the face if inadequate fluids will cause bloating and constipation.

cystic acne,dermititis. all pills =allergic reaction...leaky gut? h pylori, ovarian cysts, belching, chronic constipation(sharp pain). cause... sibo/parasites? can't eat, was on strict diet. laxatives don't work, suppositories barely. what to eat?

Fiber and water: You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.

what do you advise if i have constipation-i took two laxatives in the morning, didn't work. can i take another?

Liquids only: And take a tbspoon of mom and mineral oil every 12 hours. Should clean out in 24-48 hours. If stool in rectum use glycerine suppository or fleet enema (sodium bisphosphate) from below. Do not eat solid food untlil you are completely cleaned out and avoid getting to this point in the future by eating and drinking properly.

For constipation: take Senna.  Senna is a very safe natural plant product with a wide dosage range.  Start by taking 2 tablets at bedtime, if you do not have a comfortable bowel movement (BM) the next day, take 4 tablets the next night.  You can continue to increase the dose by 2 tablets every night until it works.  It is safe and effective to continue taking the dose that works every night.

Unlikely: It is very unlikely to have Partial Intestinal Obstruction after Hysterectomy.And also you are moving your bowels.You can slowly cut down the dose of your laxatives and try to move your bowels on your own.But if you still need the laxatives daily consult your doctor.You also need to drink plenty fluids and fiber in your diet

Chronic constipation is a common complaint using laxatives are the best way to handle this but ones that or not habit forming a good example would be milk of magnesia for MiraLAX and would use that daily until the condition is more comfortable if you were: Chronic constipation is common if it persists you should see your physician as this is a change of bowel movement .You can use milk of magnesia or MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) as directed which are excellent laxatives which will correct the condition.

See GI doctor: Dont ignore the problem besides the stomach problem the acid reflux can do much damage in your mouth 
please see a gastroenterologist who deals specifically with these problems also see your dentist to rule out any damage in your mouth.

chronic constipation since oct '22. gi doctors haven't found cause. enemas & laxatives no longer work. today pooped out soft, pale yellow tissue w/ grey veins. smells terrible. gi dr. i called to show no call back yet. how to preserve it to test?

: Examining or lab tests on the stool in this situation might not be necessary or helpful. If you proceed, all you need is a sealed container like a screw top jar or a tightly sealed ziplock bag; and keep it in the refrigerator.
