No: Unfortunately, the answer to your question is no. They may not as flared or as prominent but they will not go away. It's like varicose veins once showed up, they can only get worse. Regular soft stools, straining avoidance are very important to keep them at bay.

See Below: Baby blues  are transient, relatively mild with onset several days after delivery and lasting about 3-4 wks. Sx resolve as hormone levels stabilize and routine with the baby is established. Postpartum depression significantly impairs functioning, onset might be delayed for up to a year. Even if hormones are stabilized and routine is there, sx do not resolve, worsen and functioning deteriorates.

Tough one: if actively breast-feeding and no menses since delivery you are not ovulating and thus unlikely to conceive or become pregnant. Sorry. Enjoy the bonding time with the one you have. Breast feeding so very important to your child especially for the first year of life. No real way to make your periods (and ovulation) start up again safely. Let nature take its course. Dr. R

Irregular bleeding: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections ;  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Postpartum exercise:  it is ok to begin exercising 6 weeks after a vaginal delivery that was uncomplicated. A good way to tell if you are ready is if your bleeding has slowed down significantly or none at all. And you are no longer having uterine cramping

Not normal: Is this the first period since delivery? Was everything ok with delivery and did bleeding stopped as expected afterwards? Were your periods heavy before preg.? Periods can become a bit heavier after pregnancy but a tampon every 45 min seems a lot. I'd see your OB-GYN, esp. if heavy bleeding continues, cramping, fever, dizzy or weak.
