I wouldn't: The product contains aspirin which is disproportionately excreted in the breast milk at higher than expected levels. As a rule we do not expose children under 16 yo to any aspirin products for a variety of reasons. If you can find an aspirin free product like Tums it would be better.

Diarrhea/breastfeed: Women who are breast-feeding should avoid drugs that contain bismuth, such as pepto-bismol. Imodium (loperamide) is probably safe. for mild upset stomach and diarrhea, the best approach is to keep drinking water and eat simple easy-to-digest foods such as the brat diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast). See a doctor if you are vomiting, having bloody diarrhea, fever or chills.

Since : Since he is so little, you should contact his doctor right away about his upset stomach.  There could be something more concerning going on such as a milk protein allergy or an anatomic abnormality causing him to have difficulty eating.  Your child's doctor will need to examine him and be able to direct you as to the next appropriate step.  Good luck!

Stay hydrated: Make sure you're taking enough fluids, and eat only a bland diet until you feel completely better. This means easy to digest foods like rice, bananas, toast, plain baked potato, broth, etc.   Avoid fried, heavy, fatty, saucy, creamy foods until your condition has returned to normal (and consider avoiding all that same stuff for your general health after you're better).

: First ask your pediatrician for help. Then, have your baby evaluated by a pediatric dentist who is skilled in tongue &amp; lip tie releases; usually with a laser. If your baby is lip &amp;/or tongue tied, it can inhibit proper lip seal which allows gas in it’s tummy called Aerophagia. Gut biome is also affected causing discoloration in stool. Gas: Drinking hot(not boiling) water and taking simethicone after meals can reduce intestinal gas entrapment. Applying heat to the abdomen helps break down gas and enables passage through the intestinal tract and out the rectum. Don't force yourself to belch as this only causes swallowing more air. Of course, avoid gassy foods and soda.
