Pain +/- pruritis (itching) from the rectum that recurs may also indicate anal fissures, proctitis (due to infection, inflammatory bowel disease, radiation therapy, stercoral ulcers, rectal prolapse, trauma, etc.), prctalgia fugax. Depending on your age, risk factors, current medication (aspirin, nsaid's), circumstances, you will want to get evaluated.

Time: Local heat like warm baths, use Ibuprofen or Aspirin for discomfort, avoid bowel straining and constipation. These thrombosed hemorrhoids naturally resolve in 5-7 days without surgery, or can see a surgeon sooner as needed.

Keep stool soft: You can't always avoid hemorrhoids. But you can decrease the chance of developing them and limit their size by keeping your stool soft with lots of fluid and fiber. Also,  don't strain with bowel movements.

Anuyjing: You can actually eat anything you'd like. I recommend considering  a soft or liquid diet for 2-3 days. Also take a still softener once or twice a day. Drink plenty of water and start trying to eat 20-30 grams of fiber a day

Hemmorhoids: Many people present with piles and this can actually be the issue or one of many other problems that your doctor can help
there are dietary, behavioral, hygiene modifications as well as procedures that can help these common problems.Both constipation and diarrhea can lead to this  condition as well it is best if you consult with a general or colorectal surgeon to help with preventative steps.

None: Food is not the cause or cure for disease. High fiber foods will help prevent constipation which may aggravate hemorrhoids, butt won't cure the problem nor does it cause it.  If you want to prevent hemorrhoids walk on all fours like a gorilla

Stool softener: You will need a stool softener supplement such as doss or mom daily (increase dose until stool is soft) until the area of surgery has healed completely. Food changes alone will probably not work.

i eat flour tortillas or country biscuits and my body flares up. i get flush, my heart rate kicks up and i have hemorrhoids that push out and spray blood during bowel movements. doctor tests say no celiac disease or crohns. what else could it be?

Accepted Answer

: This appears to be some sort of food intolerance. You can still be intolerant of gluten but not have true celiac disease which is true gluten sensitivity with positive blood tests or biopsy. Can you identify other wheat products that provoke similar symptoms?
