Acidic/fatty foods: In researching this question i found many lists of food to avoid that were completely undocumented & questionable- for example, most lists said to avoid cabbage, which is the food most proven to help heal ulcers! we don't have much science to answer this, but most find it beneficial to avoid acidic foods like citrus & coffee, alcohol & fatty foods. If spicy foods irritate then avoid. See comment:.

No food restrictions: If you have a stomach ulcer its important to know if you have an infection with h. Pylori.  This can be determined with a breath test, stool test or endoscopy with biopsy.  If positive for infection treatment is advised.  A potent acid inhibitor e.g. Prilosec or one of its brethren is necessary to help heal the ulcer.  Also, if the ulcer was drug induced then stop taking the offending drug.

Ulcer: There is no particular diet that is necessary for an ulcer. You should definitely avoid aspirin and NSAIDs. From a food point-of-view, , you should avoid any food which  you notice gives you troubles. You should quit smoking, and avoid alcohol at least until you&#x27;ve verified the ulcer is healed. Be sure to take your medicine and to follow up with your doctor as advised. Good luck.

Lots: You can maintain a normal low fat diet, and drink water, juice, milk, and soy or almond milks.  Be careful with fizzy drinks and avoid alcohol.  The size of the meal may be a challenge to your ulcer symptoms, start small and increase as tolerated.  Coffee and tea in moderation are usually fine if combined with a small meal.

Need to determine: Cause. Gastritis and stomach ulcer may be due to helicobacter infection, Aspirin and other drugs, vascular problems, alcohol etc. Please see your doctor for an evaluation and treat the cause.

Too much acid: Increase acid production related to stress can cause a stomach ulcer or skipping meals.  Eating or drinking things that are stomach irritants like alcohol, spicy food, too much Aspirin or ibuprofen, smoking can all contribute to causing ulcers.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor to ascertain if you have an ulcer. Ulcers are treatable with oral medications. Wish you good health!

Information: Ulcers respond to PPI like omeprazole OTC, may need treatment w antibiotics for H. pylori bacteria. Foods: Choose fruit, vegetables, fiber. Avoid alcohol, NSAIDS,&amp;anything you find that upsets your stomach - this varies person to person; sadly, no definite list to provide.Re: Meth - well done! Takes hard work. Withdrawal symptoms CAN last 3 weeks - you are almost there, don't get discouraged.

Testicles: Do not communicate with stomach lining.  Should be treated for ulcer and have testicle check for infection, tumor, torsion. Good luck.
