If too bad: Need to goto hospital to get it dis impacted   I've seen them do it in ER.  And in extreme cases.  To operating room for sedation to dis impact.   Drink plenty Water.  Exercise.  Eat plenty fiber. Leafy vegetables.   Call your doctor.  Meds may help.  Also some meds may hinder you vowels as well

Depends: Having constipation or being full of stool should not cause swelling unless the swelling is your belly. If you mean swelling in you arms and legs then there can be multiple reasons for why this is happening.  Please see your doctor for more answers. Cheers.

i was in a motor cycle accident and my testicles and bowels took the impact. i had my surgery 2-3 weeks ago, when will it be safe for me to ejaculate? im a little apprehensive since the staples were just removed from my scrotum?

Enema: Usually severe constipation that is refractory to colase or other rx stool softeners may benefit from several enemas.

Constipation: Colon impaction from chronic constipation can cause all types of abdominal bloating & discomfort. Straining to have hard bm will cause pain & rectal bleeding. Diarrhea can be an attempt at the body trying to eliminate the excess bowel waste. Drink more liquids, eat more fiber, try MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) laxative. See a doctor for an exam & discussion of treatment options.

Fissure, maybe...: You may have a fissure- an acute crack or tear in the anal canal that is quite painful. Spasm of pelvic floor muscles and nonrelaxation of the sphincter can make it difficult to move bowels. Drink plenty of water, try a stool sotener, but above all, see your doctor asap for diagnosis in person, and to rule out more concerning issues that may be present.

bowel movements have become irregular in the last months. sometimes they are quite large and sometimes they are just pebbles. usually once every 3 days. not sure why its so inconsistent. increased fibre, berries, and water have had no impact. help?
