Unknown: Bbt or basal body temperature is an inaccurate way to follow ovulation.  In our experience it adds a great deal of stress.  If the pattern is normal it highly correlates with ovulation but if it's not it surely doesn't mean that you are not ovulating.  If you have 28 day regular cycles you are 98% certain that you have normal ovulation.

Ok: Although I am not a big fan of basal body temperature charts, you are using them, than typically, the temp drops prior to ovulation and than peaks approximately 36 hours later.  Problem is that by the time you get to peak, the egg is no longer viable or fertilize-able; and many women do not get the initial drop prior to ovulation.  Good luck.

T3 (liothyronine), (liothyronine) T4 or reverse T3 (liothyronine): Even though the TSH may be nml, you could still clinically be suffering from hypothyroidism. You should get a few more tests if you have the symptoms ipof hypothyroidism.

Yes: Although bbts are not a very effective way of timing ovulation; in the classic situation, your temperature drops right before ovulation and than spikes approximately shortly later.  The egg is estimated to live for 12-24 hours so once you see the temperature peak, it is probably to late and you have missed ovulation.  The ovulation detection kits or odk are much more accurate in timing ovulation.

Maybe-Do you feel ok: If you feel ok, then this might just be normal for you. It depends on how low these numbers are, of course.

Sometimes low bp, hr, and t can indicate problems with thyroid or adrenal glands, and if there are symptoms to go along with that then it deserves a look.

Normal: That temp range is normal. Your child may be simply overtired or may be coming down with something. Provide fluids, let him/her rest and provide tlc-  a moms special gift. If he/she is sick it will declare itself in a day or two.

May be hypothyroid: If you are not very ill, which can lead to a low temperature, and the temp is below 97. 6, you may be hypothyroid. Remember, 98.6 is average, normal can be 1 degree above or below. The temperature normally goes down at night and is lowest about 4:00-6:00 A.M. About 2 hours before awakening. Then it can be as low as 97.

Fever is Our Friend: The degree of fever at which you should worry is dependent of your child's age.  A temperature of 100.4 or greater is considered a fever.   A worrisome fever is 103-105 degrees especially if the child is irritable and/or not feeding or sleeping well.  If a fever is prolonged, you should seek medical advice.

98.8 Degrees F: 98.8 degrees fahrenheit (or 37 degrees celsius) is the "textbook" normal temperature.  However, individuals can have slightly lower or higher normal temperatures.  Also, our body temperature naturally fluctuates throughout a 24-hour period (circadian rhythm).
