Rash: Neither sand nor salt water by themselves tend to cause rashes. Remember we all have salt water in our bloodstream. And sand is an inert byproduct of silicon, which is nonreactive. If there is a rash, it is probably from some other factor. With sand, if it is pushed across the skin, could cause an abrasion just like sandpaper. Salt water might be mixed with something that he is allergic to.

Revolting thought: No salt water will not reserve it. Formalin is used in pathology departments & medical museums. Might i suggest that you bury the embryo, out of respect and to avoid gossip and ridicule by almost anyone who finds out that you are preserving your embryo.

Light presure: Your dentist should have given you post-operative instructions. Usually a pack of gauze is given and instruction given on how to use them.  If you ran out of the gauze, you can use a tea bag. Wet the bag and bite on that with light pressure over the extraction site. Bleeding should stop in a few minutes. Call the dentist office for more instruction.

Water and COVID 19:  At this point, there is no evidence that COVID 19 is a waterborne disease.  Chemically treated pools contain chlorine and other chemicals that kill the virus. Even if it is a salt-water pool it isn't spread by water. But, COVID 19 can still be spread by people who are close to one another.
