how long does it take to get an answer for a question from a doctor who you paid for there service with healthtap? i've been waiting a few days now for a text/email back?

so i know this might not be the right place for this question; every time my mom comes back from the doctors once a month, she's really out of it and super high for about a week. this has been going on for years.. what can i do?

hi doctors. i have a delicate question. at times after using the restroom, if i take a shower some time after that, i notice that after the shower, i feel as though i need to ""go back and wipe."" at times this need to go back and wipe is needed. why?

Well: This can be due to pain or fissure or hemorrhoid or trouble with your rectal sphincter. Recommend in person evaluation with primary care physician or general surgeon

hi i have a question my son has this pimples on his back and now one under his chain what could it be? i don't feel safe taking him out to the doctors room because of covid19

GP: Best to start will be with his pediatrician who might have noticed and treated his rash before. Visualizing the rash will be required first and many offices have the capability of doing remote consults so that you do not have to take him to the office. Rashes are common in children and they commonly reflect infections, some are self limited, some others may benefit from proper treatment.

what questions do i ask the doctor treating my back pain?

Many: 1)  are you a spine specialist or do you treat many spine injuries?
2)  are their non surgical ways to treat this
3)  what are the success rates for the options you have offered? (not anectdotal personal results - what does the spine literature say about the proposed options!
4  in general to all patients - beware of fads and advertisements regarding back pain treatments that sound "too good.".

why don't i remember all my questions till the doctor leaves? is it ok to ask him to come back?

DONT REMEMBER QUESTI: It is not nice to expect doctor to come back.What i suggest is write down allthe questions you need to ask on a piece of paoer.And if you can not get all the answers or think of the questions after doctor leaves, than either call next day or make another appoitment for that.

Call, leave message: If you're not having an allergic reaction, then you don't need to go drive back in to have a conversation about the shots - the doctor's probably busy, and unscheduled consult will make him late for the rest of his patients that day.  Plus, it's inconvenient for you!  i'd call and leave a message with your question, and a good doctor should get back to you that day or the next.

i have one more question about epidermoid cysts. i had one drained on thursday. how often can they drain a cyst? would they have to let it heal for few weeks before doing it again or before removing the cyst completely? i go back to doc this week?

Epidermoid cyst: Epidermoid cysts can be drained frequently if needed. Usually if they are needing frequent draining, it is recommended to get it completely excised to stop the recurrence. It does not necessarily need a healing period. It is unusual for recurrence to happen within a few weeks of draining.

Estrogen dominance: It sounds like estrogen dominance.  You don't say how old she is or what her hormonal status is.  She should see a doctor who deals in perimenopausal and menopausal women's hormone issues.  She probably needs regular progesterone hormone treatment.
