hi. what organ/ body part is on the lower left side of your abdomen? is it normal that i can feel it while lying down? no pain or anything. feels squishy..im also really skinny but is it any cause for concern?? (major hypochondriac over here)

Multiple: The left lower abdomen contains some small intestine, a good portion of your descending and sigmoid colon. You may also feel ovaries. When lying down, these become much easier to feel and it is completely normal to do so.

Not  necessarily : Unless  you  have pain or  discomfort . Minor assymetry of opposite  body parts  is not  unusual. However  if you  have  symptoms or worried see  a doctor.

does long term use of pvp-i solution cause serious side effects (e.g. organ damage - besides thyroid dysfunction)? i have used betadine for scalp folliculitis everyday for 2 years. i know its not recommended to use it for longer than 10 days?

can metformin cause lower abdominal pain.but i stopped using it bc of the side effects.i had an upset stomach for weeks.so i stopped it maybe a month ago.i suffer from pain and i'm uncomfortable sometimes.can it be inflamation or damaged organs?help?

: If you stopped the metformin a month ago and you are still having the discomfort, it is unlikely to be due to metformin. The only way to find out what your abdominal pain is from is to see a doctor. You need to be examined and then have whatever tests your doctor thinks will help to diagnose the cause of your symptoms.
