Depends on you: Although surgery is often necessary for significant weight loss it also takes a patient willing to work hard also.  Avoiding high calorie foods is also necessary.  You can drink wendy's frostiness all day and still gain weight.

Surgeon: This is surgeon dependent.  Generally, at least deep sutures will be used.  Skin closure can be  done with glue, sutures, or staples.  Most surgeons will seek the best cosmetic result.  This is best achieved using "buried" absorbable sutures and/or glue.... Not staples.

Fruits &amp; Veggies :): Fresh green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits are the most important. Dairy, i.e. milk is healthy too. Next comes complex carbs and finally, meat proteins but not processed meat or fatty meat. In general, avoid too much sugar, salt and fat.
