If you have either: One of those and it is 7.5 cm you need surgery to remove it sometimes some of the ovary can be saved , sometimes not.

Of course they are: Ovaries make. Cysts every month. The cysts release eggs so you can get pregnant.  Occasionally they cause pain but not often.

Nature: It is normal for the ovary to have cysts.  Every woman has a 2 cm cyst at the time of ovulation.  On occasion there will be an abnormal ovarian cyst that will require surgical treatment.

Ovarian cyst? : Rarely an ovarian tumor will produce hormones in excess (neoplasm), but in general, a woman's fifth decade (40 onward) will bring excess hormone b/c the ovarian matrix (not a cyst, per se) will produce far more estrogen to ovulate as the eggs age.  Heavier periods, more PMS and emotional changes will occur.  Ask your gyn about low dose oral bcp's, which can reduce this phenomenon.

See a GYN: It's right around the size when i would recommend taking it out. If you have pain, definitely have it removed. Thick separations are also a sign that it may need to come out. I recommend you talk to a gynecologist.
