AFI at 30 weeks: An afi of 12. Is a little low for 30 weeks gestation.  Remember that amniotic fluid is fetal urine. If you repeat the same test in 2-4 hours, it may be higher. In any case, you need another biophysical profile in 2 weeks. Were you complaining of decreased fetal movement?

Think positive.: Subchorionic hemorrhage happens and yes, it is one of the most anxiety-provoking phenomenons of early pregnancy. Fortunately the size of the hemorrhage is not associated with the likelihood of miscarriage, although the risk is increased slightly. Think positive, have hope, and follow up. Spotting is likely, expect it, but may not mean much. Best of luck.

Pregnancy: No matter how badley women wish to be pregnant, nature will abort up to 30% for genetic or other reasons. Wait until your 2nd trimester before you start  asking questions. Your gyn has excellent ultrasounds and can tell you how everything is going.

sxs begin when period is missed or thereafter (6-8 wks).  Sx’s can include: tender /swollen breasts, nausea or vomiting; lack of period; ^ frequency of urination; headaches, insomnia, fatigue. Moodiness, mild cramping, food cravings ; aversions; passing gas; enlarging waist line ; ^ white, milky vaginal discharge. Take pregnancy test to know.

When pregnant vagina: Discharge is thin, white ; milky. This is not diagnostic for pregnancy.  So, if your period is late, please take a home pregnancy test.

Probably fine: Depending on your baby's position in the uterus, most women are within 2 cm of their gestational age after 20 weeks.  33 would put you within that 2cm variation that we often see.

MSD: Mean sac diameter (MSD) is a sonographic measurement of the gestational sac which is usually first seen at around 3 weeks after conception (5 weeks after the last menstrual period), when it measures 2-3 mm.

MSD = (length + height + width)/3

Normal MSD (in mm) + 30 = days of pregnancy
