Likely not serious: Normal if U consumed asparagus before urinating. Also if urine is very concentrated due to low fluid intake. Worth getting a urinalysis, if foul smell continues, to rule out UTI. Most UTIs are not serious.

Urine smell: Compounds found in foods like asparagus can give your urine a bad smell. However, a fishy odor accompanied by discharge is concerning for an infection. See your physician for evaluation.

Pls see pediatrician: Routinely in all 50 state of the us , we check for metabolic screen for all babies  once after 24 hours after birth and again in the 2nd week
if metabolic screen is normal, do not worry about the rare metabolic diseases like phenylketonurea or maple syrup urine disease
please check with your pediatrician.

Lots of things: Some common ones are infection and your diet. Certain vegetables, especially, can cause an odor. Asparagus is a common culprit. Get a doctor to test your urine for causes.

Any irritation or drainage around the stoma?
Bleeding?
Ostomy  bag fitting well?

: Should be OK. Best by …. does not mean discard date.  Smell and taste and if nothing growing on/in it likely OK.
