It depends: Some people with severe lupus require strong immunosuppressive drugs and this can cause the HIV to become worse. Other lupus patients with mild disease who only need mild medicines, like plaquenil, (hydroxychloroquine) do not have any impact on their hiv. It is strongly recommended if you have lupus and are concerned about HIV that you get tested and, if positive, see a rheumatologist and infectious disease specialist.

Lupus not contagious: If you haven&#x27;t had your 8 hours of sleep the last 4 nights, you have good reason to be tired! Also, if your partner was HIV positive, spread is unlikely via saliva with lip injury and or transfer from hands to the conjuncitiva of your eye. Also, AIDS symptoms are delayed months or years from date of contracting the virus.

Wait for bone marrow: Bone marrow biopsy was done because the cause for the symptoms and other laboratory findings was not clear. Please wait for the bone marrow biopsy results and do not be surprised, if more tests are needed even after that.

Not a test for lupus: The HIV test is not a test for lupus. What's clear is that you don't have hiv.  You'll never know why your elisa was positive and then indeterminate, and it's not worth investigating.  False positive elisas are not uncommon; that's why they have to be confirmed with western blot.

May be: The fall is not great but the levels are low especially if your iron level is truly normal and there are no other obvious reasons for the low count. A bone marrow study is not pleasant but can give you and your doctor valuable information. Seeing a hematologist (blood specialist) may also be wise.

Lymph node: Lymph swelling not common with lamotragine. Probably some type of viral process. If you otherwise feel OK keep an eye on it. If symptoms or if you have persistent swelling let your provider know about it.

Yes: Yes, there is a term called "seronegative spondyloarthropathies" and all it really means is a group of disorders that act like inflamnatory arthritic conditions, but there blood tests are negative.  Many patients in this group will ultimately "convert" years later when their blood tests turn positive.  This includes people who are later diagnosed with RA and Lupus, among others.

MRCP: Looks like you have pancreatitis, but if you have not had alcohol, need mrcp to see if there any pancreatic duct abnormalities. Need more info, were you drinking before and did you have multiple pancreatits before? Mrcp followed by eus would help. Ercp may be needed once acute episode is resolved, or if you find any stricture in the duct.
