Pelvic pain: Pelvic pain is complex as there are several organs in the pelvis. The ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, bladder, appendix, intestines, colon and rectum can all be the source. Speculative: Mid-twenties female with 6th pregnancy and low back pain likely has pain generated by hypermobile sacroiliac joints (sij) caused by pelvic mass, secretion of ligament-relaxing hormone relaxin, and 5 prior pelvic mechanical insults.  Joint hypermobility syndrome (see brighton criteria) might potentiate this. An sij belt might help, ; an ostetrician should be consulted for other possible causes.

Close periods: Having 2 periods one week apart could cause engorgement of your uterine vessels especially the veins. This could show up on the ultrasound as 'swelling'.   Ask your doctor to discuss this with you in more detail.

7 days ago my period ended. today i experience mild cramps around the womb area and little blood discharge. it is dark red/brownish. gooey and sticky consistency. discharge amount is lesser than half a tea spoon. any reason?

Not advised: The usual tissue that needs evaluation is endometrium and the histology of endometrium would be distorted during the period.

i am having periods whilst on the drug decapeptyl & my gp was concerned. i attended the gynaecologist yesterday and he took a biopsy of my womb. what is he looking for?

: Regular use of decapeptyl will generally stop menstruation, as it will stop release of GnRH a hormone responsible for stimulation of hormone production.  Bleeding episodes while on decapeptyl may not represent true "periods" but just withdrawal bleeding from a thickened endometrial lining. A gyn provider is obtaining tissue to check for potential malignancy.

See a doctor: It is impossible to tell what pain is from without an exam and more thorough history.  Pain that comes and goes as intervals is commonly intestinal cramping from the intestines that lie on top of the uterus.  Sometimes an ovary can twist and untwist causing severe, worst pain of your life pain.  To know for sure if the pain is either of these issues or something else, please see a doctor

Not a real period: First, did you rule out pregnancy? It's possible that you had 2 days of bleeding but that it was not a normal cycle. You normally menstruate 14 days after ovulation and completely shed your lining. If you don't ovulate, the lining gets thicker and thicker and more disorganized, and eventually some will drift out by accident. But without the proper hormonal trigger the entire lining doesn't shed.
