In cases that don't resolve with r.I.C.E., other treatments like physical therapy, medication, or an injection may help.

See your doctor...: Too many possibilities exist to really say definitively what's wrong, but it could be a pinched nerve in the neck going down the arm, a shoulder problem, or maybe  there was a fracture.  A good physical exam and maybe an x-ray can eliminate most possibilities and give you a solid diagnosis.
