Gastroenteritis: Hi, sounds like gastroenteritis/traveler's diarrhea which usually gets better within 1-3 days with rest and fluids but if you can't keep any fluids down for &gt;24hrs, develop fever &gt;38C (&gt;100F), severe abdominal pain/cramps or see blood in your stool seek medical help. Restart taking your med's when you can but use condom this cycle.

See other specialist: If gastroenterologist has completed workup, labs are normal, and no medications that can possibly cause nausea, then may need to be referred to neurologist to see if there is central nervous system that be causing the nausea.  Knowing other associated symptoms would help.

Most of the time, the body is pretty smart and is trying to get rid of something, so these symptoms can be allowed to continue. However, if it is very severe or continues, nausea/vomiting should be managed.Ginger may help, or rx.
