i was walking around my neighborhood and a dog jumped on me. i don't think i was bit, and i didn't see any bite marks. it's possible that i was scratched but i didn't see any scratches when i got home. any reason to get rabies pep treatment?

: Contact your local health department for guidance. They usually control the local supply of PEP vaccine and are aware of local rabies activity. It does not sound like a worthy exposure, but they will decide if you need to seek an exam and or need the shots,

Tendonitis: It may be due to overuse, but it should be looked at by orthopedic surgeon or your family doctor. Find out the cause and then the appropriate treatment can be prescribed. For now ice it.

i fell on a concrete sidewalk yesterday. used some hand soap on the wound and came home. today it looks a little red surrounding it, is this normal?

Depends: Any break in the skin could be source of infection even for an abrasion.  If you have done general first aid wound care and the redness or swelling or pain increases, then see your doctor right away.

hi there, after i removed an ingrown hair (lump) on my pubic area, i placed a cotton pad with dettol on it overnight now the surrounding area is red, dry, painful, and has flakes around it, i cant seek a doctor right now is there any home remedies ?

Time: Let it heal on its own. Keep the area clean and dry.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

hand immobilized in a custom-molded, hard plastic splint due to pinky flexor tendon surgery on nov. 10. despite daily home exercises and 2x/week hand therapy, pinky and surrounding fingers are swollen and stiff. what else can i do for relief?

: Hold it above you heart will help swelling.  i would ask the team that did the surgery as they know exactly what was done and can predict better in folks like you they worked on.

Yes: It is normally fine to take your infant to the neighborhood pool as long as the pool is well maintained.  I recommend rinsing the baby off after being in the water, also be very careful with sun exposure if it is an outdoor pool.

Walking your baby: That would totally depend on the health of your baby and what the environment is in your neighborhood.   Is there air pollution?

Outside: I believe that all being equal walking outside is a better exercise
on the treadmill you merely go up and down while the treadmill moves
outside you actually push the air resistance out of the way
also it's good to get fresh air
save the treadmill for those bad weather days.
