Is it safe to bring my baby to my neighborhood pool?

Yes: It is normally fine to take your infant to the neighborhood pool as long as the pool is well maintained. I recommend rinsing the baby off after being in the water, also be very careful with sun exposure if it is an outdoor pool.

See below: As long as you are vigilant the child will be safe. Any public place, including daycare, will expose your child to coughs, colds and GI upsets. This includes pools. This is not bad, you just have to be prepared for it.
