The : The diagnosis of a cyst is made by looking at tissue with a microscope.  If there is something at the end of the root of a molar, it means you need to see an endodontist.  If it is a cyst, it can become infected and or expand.

Hard to say: You did not say where or what was involved with the cyst.  If you had it surgically removed it will take about a week to heal. If you have not had it removed, then you should see a dentist or oral surgeon and have it evaluated for treatment.

Probably not!: Got me there!  i din't think so, but there are no published papers suggesting that oral sex causes these cysts.  There are factors asuch as diabetes, weight issues that are far more important!

Menstrual cycles can be regulated with birth control or Progesterone. Abnormal hair growth can be treated with laser hair removal or mediations like Spironolactone. Insulin resistance can be treated with Metformin.

Unfortunately : Unfortunately you did not provide enough information regarding the nature and location of the cyst.  As you would expect a simple odontogenic (dental) cyst in an easily accessed location could be done as a simple in office procedure under local anesthesia.  More aggressive cysts, those that are difficult to access, or those that have vital structures located close by may require a general anesthetic and hospitalization.
