Need more info.: Doctors treat patients, not tests. A single lab value requires additional information in order to properly interpret it. All labs come with a range of "normal" values. This is the range of values expected for healthy individuals. Unhealthy people can have normal values and vise versa. Best to consult with the physicial who ordered the test to answer your question.

What sections: What are the eight sections? You may be misinformed. Liver has a mostly uniform architecture.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Cholestasis: You could elevated bilirrubin and alkaline phosphatase predominantly. Others sucn as transaminases can be elevated too. They will all normalize upon delivery.

Generally Not: The cold viruses do not generally involve the liver.  Other viruses (such as mono) can cause a mild hepatitis (inflammation).

Impairment: Severe sepsis can cause many different organs to fail including the liver. Inflammatory responses and low blood pressures can cause the liver to not function normally. Usually the liver recovers as the sepsis is treated and the inflammation subsides and blood pressure is corrected. Unfortunately a patient with sepsis severe enough to disrupt liver function has a significant chance of dying.

Yearly: LFT's and U/S of Liver should be followed to evaluate Liver function.

Likely nothing: If you have cirrhosis (end stage) there is likely little you can do. If you have dysfunction from an acute insult then it may recover with removal of that insult (ie alcohol , virus). See your GI for more advice.

Need more info: Impossible to answer accurately your question with the information provided.  Data needed--are you reporting high lft's (cholestatic or hepatocellular) or a lesion? 1) how big is the lesion? 2) how long has it been there?  3) is it enlarging, ;at what rate?  4) cystic or solid?  5) is it causing symptoms?  6) do you have underlying liver disease?  7) has a tissue diagnosis (biopsy) been pursued?

Be liver friendly: To ensure good liver health either don’t drink alcohol or limit your intake (1 drink for females & 2 for males/ day).  Be proactive with hepatitis b (& a) vaccination.  Avoid risks like sharing needles (iv drug use), unprotected sex or lack of sanitation with piercings & tattoos.  Protect from blood and fecal contact when necessary. Maintain a healthy weight & keep high fat foods to a minimum. &gt;&gt;.
