When all are ready: Any person who takes a stimulant will focus better. If a family has tried environmental and structural interventions and identified that no other changes in diet, nutrition, or support are beneficial, it is reasonable to do a med trial, or even as a first choice if adequate diagnosis suggests that meds might be helpful-if that is the famioy preference.

Distractions?: Set  up time periods for homework. Give him breaks every 20-30 minutes. Has this been a pattern from earlier years? He may have some learning problem (add?) may want to talk with your M.D.

Talk to your : Primary care physician to r/o attention deficit disorder. They will give you a questionnaire and a history and physical. There is a specific criteria from the american psychiatric association for the diagnosis. A good primary care doctor could do the initial screening and even start treatment if necessary. There is treatment for adhd. Good luck.

Generally no.: The appendix is located on the right side in almost all people. Appendicitis pain is typically located in the right lower abdomen. If you are having left sided pain, there are many other structures in women, including the fallopian tubes, ovaries, kidney stones, colon issues. If you are having left lower abdominal pain, and if you might be pregnant, go to ER to rule out ectopic pregnancy.

2 years ago i had s small incident wiith my neart.now everything is ok.i do 1 or2 cigarettes in a week is that problem?

Yes: I always tell my patients if they smoke more than i do, then it is bad for them. I don't smoke. The effect of one cigarette can linger and depending on you genes they can also be induced as for cancer, perhaps COPD but also for heart and blood vessel problems, etc.. It is always best not to smoke at all.

i go through a routine diagnosis  and found that s.g.p.t and s.g.o.t are double that normal range .i have sputum  problem which is normal in color .

Elevated LFT's: If you are having elevated liver function tests you need to determine the cause.  Get a hepatitis profile and abdominal u/s done. Avoid fatty foods and alcohol.  Have you had a sore throat or Mono recently?  Stay on top of this as some of the conditions can be life threatening and or contagious.

i have a hanging piece on my perineum. its flesh colored and ive always had it. its soft & squishy. i dont have any problems but id like an opinion?

Perineal lesion:   A doctor needs to look but it sounds benign and is most probably a skin tag of some sort. As long as it doesn't hurt, it can be left alone.

i am having problem s with my back  i think it is a disc problem .it hurts when bending or working .what can be done so i can keep working as landscap?

You need: an evaluation by a spine specialist ....and Physical therapy to strengthen the :paraspinal" MUSCLES on either side of your back bones (vertebrae) so you can do your job without pain.
Ask your Primary Care Provider (PCP) for a referral.

No: If a T.E.N.S. unit is giving you relief there is no harm done to you in using it for a long time. Compared to  many other things it is very safe.
