One of the commonest is iron deficiency anemia due to nutritional deficiencies and blood loss (menstruation).  Increasing oral iron and decreasing blood loss usually raises the hematocrit.  Treat all causes of anemia.

Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Depend of the cause: Treatment for anemia ( low hemoglobin/hematocrit) has to be directed to the underlying cause/etiology of the anemia. Many things can cause anemia eg- bleeding, iron deficiency, deficiency in other nutrient, red blood cells destruction, drug induced, bone marrow failure, other red blood cells disorder etc. See you doctor and have further evaluation. If complicated- see a hematologist to help you.

Depends: It is something that should definitely be evaluated.  Either you body isn't making enough red blood cells or you are losing them somewhere. The hematocrit of 24 is not a danger on its own.  Your body can tolerate a crit that low. You need to be evaluated for the cause, though.
