Many possible causes: I hope you're not driving when you're falling asleep! There are many possible causes including anemia,thyroid &amp; other hormonal imbalances,vitamin/mineral/amino acid deficiencies, all sorts of chronic infections (viral, bacterial, fungal, parasitic), environmental or food allergies, environmental toxins, sleep apnea, stress etc. We can not tell you here; please see a good Dr. (ideally Integrative).

No BP: BP is normally  90-120/60-80.  If you have symptoms with that blood pressure then that is abnormal. More information is needed to comment on your grandmother, If he usually has higher blood pressure that can be a problem. In general blood pressure does lower down when going to bed.

Do not drive: Most importantly, get enough time in bed, especially the day before any long idstance driving. Avoid alcohol. Make sure you do not have sleep apnea or another sleep disorder. Use caffeine. Pull over and take naps. If you are sleepy, do not drive.

TOO MUCH: The dose is too much for you so go down to 30mg daily. Interestingly this is a side effect when someone has ADHD and the dose is to strong.
