Yes and no: If you have a swelling at the tip of the elbow posterior, that is bursitis.  You could have just swelling from the injury.  If infected, it would be hot and red.

Benadryl (diphenhydramine): Take a benadryl (diphenhydramine) and if it is still not beginning to improve in 15 min, go to urgent Care or call your Dr. Not knowing the culprit makes it hard to pllan other than for being safer than sorry. On that note - consider Urgent Care immediately! Just in case - and allergic reactions matter too!

Not all seen with: ultrasound. The cord like findings my be part of muscle and muscle tendons. This may look like muscle on an ultrasound. As for lymph, there are precious few lymph nodes at the elbow to see. If these are of more concern then other imaging is needed such as MRI.

Olecranon bursitis: Its the joint fluid between bones inflammed. Use simple support brace, antiinflammatory meds if safe for u, avoid extra use and pressure for 2 weeks, see dr if not improved or worse.

Get evaluated: Swelling after a workout could indicate a joint problem. If simple icing and rest does not work to alleviate the problem, then an evaluation by an orthopedist including an xray should be performed.

Insect bite?: I am assuming this was a bug of some sort, not a larger animal or human bite?  If so, it may be just a reaction to the toxin in the insect bite.  Try 1% hydrocortisone cream 2-3x/day, take an antihistamine like loratadine daily, apply cool compresses, and see if it improves over the next 2-3 days.  If not, get in to be seen to make sure it is not an infection.

what to do about flud in the elbow it dosent hurt but the swelling is getting quite large?

Let me explain: Most likely what you have is olecranon bursitis. If is getting big you need to take the fluids out and possibly injecting steroid there.
Go to your doctor he will manage it.
