is biotin safe to take as a teenager for beard growth, have a solid beard going at 17 but is patchy. i'm also on accutane if that matters. thanks?

Safe but useless: Taking biotin is safe but it will not make your beard grow any better. Give your beard some time and it is likely to even out.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

Maybe: Have you done this most of your life?  If so, then it's normal.  If this is a change for you and it doesn't go away in a week or two, then talk to your doctor.

Different instrument: Did you get measured at the same place with the same instrument?  Were you wearing different shoes?  Shrinking is unlikely, and it's very difficult to get an accurate height at times. Repeat the measurement in a few months, and try to do it the exact same way.  If you are still getting smaller, do get checked and find out why.

Yes: Pregnancy tests come in a variety of forms with a variety of indicators. The First Response Digital Pregnancy Test has a small rectangular window on which the words Yes + or No - would appear. If your window was solid black, the test has malfunctioned, either because there was not enough urine detected or because the test was faulty. Get another test and try again.

Spot seen on X-ray: describes a spot seen on X-Ray. The next step is to determine significance. The Radiologist and your doctor will confer to determine how to follow this up. Most nodules are harmless but this cannot be determined with certainty at the time of discovery. If you want an immediate answer, it would need to be surgically removed or biopsy. This is rarely the best choice at the onset. Patience is better.
