: The rash may be related to a yeast infection and a medication called Nystatin is then recommended. Avoid use of harsh soaps, keep area clean and dry and diaper open to air if possible. A contact rash is another possible cause, and ensure frequent diaper changes and a high quality diaper.

im scared of infant botulism. if im nursing my baby and eat something before with honey, if its accidentally on my hands or lips. i read online the incubation period for botulism is 18-36 hours and some websites say 3-30 days. which is more likely?

: This is relatively rare and usually seen in infants fer honey as a treat. The practice in common in some cultures. The chances of it happening in the setting you describe are not zero but very close to it. If the kid stops pooping and feedings drop off it could be a consideration. You are more likely to win the lottery.

a small subchorionic hematoma was just discovered at 9w3d. im pregnant with twins and babies are thriving. prior to this ive had scans where there were no schs seen. er doc says its pretty small and not to worry but what are chances of miscarriage?

Need more info: Babies with Down syndrome typically have short necks with extra tissue. Having this noted on ultrasound does not necessarily mean the baby has down syndrome, but other tests will be necessary to know this.

Interesting: From your description I would suspect the kid has a chronic condition- asthma as a background to other incidental illnesses. I would consult with a pediatric pulmonologist, usually affiliated with children's hospitals/ medical schools.  Write down all you remember about the issues &amp; bring records of hospital or ER care with you. After reviewing the data &amp; some testing they could sort this out.

Normal babies experience increased crying by age 2 weeks, crying reaches a peak by age 2 months. A thorough exam and correlation with history is needed to determine if crying is of a benign nature.
