: If stored properly, almost all drugs are safe and effective well after their expiration dates. The date indicates the amount of time that has been tested, but usually they just didn't test longer and therefore can't guarantee it's OK. But probably it would be fine. However, it usually isn't smart to self treat for any infection:  get medical care before any self treatment with antibiotics.

Vaccine/antibiotics: You can get vaccination during or after taking this antibiotics. In general, if you are a healthy individual, you can get vaccination any time if it is indicated. Depending on if it is a live vaccine or not, contraindication is different especially for patients with primary immune deficiency or having a weak immune system. : Possibly yes. Usually it takes a few days (rarely 3 weeks) for azithromycin to turn gonorrhea/chlamydia tests negative, but it might happen as soon as two days. In any case, you were not infected on the day you were tested. Antibiotics turn tests negative by curing them, not just by simply suppressing the result. Probably you were never infected, but slightly possible you had it and were cured.

Lactose: Azithromycin contains lactose which is the type of sugar found in milk but does not contain milk protein. LActose is found in many pills as a filler. Usually there is not enough to cause problems even in those with lactose intolerance.

Polythene capsule container with child resistant cap: 48 months.

A single dose of oral azithromycin 250 mg will remain in the body for 2-4 days.  A typical 5 day course (Z-pak) is effective for 10 days.
