Prior stroke: The films are indicative of older cerebral lack of blood flow causing a small stroke.  Since this has occurred, there is risk of future stroke, and underlying cause should be sought.  Consideration for medication to prevent further strokes very pertinent.  Time to have full neurological evaluation.

Great question &: Example.  The false positive anterior mi is not uncommon in women due to breast tissue attenuation effects & these computer algorithms while sophisticated & often accurate have pitfalls.  The human mind learns this pitfalls over time so we aren't tricked by them but still in cases like this an echocardiogram may needed to prove positivity.

Heart Attack: Possible. There are a lot of false positives on EKG. The only way to truly tell is to see a cardiologist and he can do some additional tests to verify or not.

Strange: Too strange. Cpet is not done with infarction. However, some surgeons like it before an operation. Nevertheless, the results usually do not change anything.

i've had two ekg's 2 years apart that state "possible anterior myocardial infarction indeterminate age". i've also had squeezing chest pains for 20+ years. for years my ekg's have been "abnormal". none of my doctors have been concerned. should i be?

: I think the answer to your question depends on what your doctors are saying about your chest pain. If they have a possible answer for it, then you may be OK, but it is not clear from this question what the answer is. You should return to your doctor or your cardiologist for the explanation, and try to work toward a solution that does not involve having chest pain. Good luck.

Abnormal EKG: Abnormalities of the electrocardiogram sometimes indicate a heart problem.  The EKG should be reviewed by a cardiologist together with your history to determine the significance of the abnormalities and whether additional testing is needed.

: Looks like you have pretty good function and a heart that will last a long time if you follow your docs treatment advice. The ejection fraction is the amount of the chambers volume that is pushed out successfully per beat &amp; that was good.
