See your doc: If you feel like a pop in your back it could be  your ligaments in your spine. But if it  causes persistent sharp pain, have yourself checked by your doc.

Pinch: Since you are 72 don't minimize any chest pain. See the doc asap and have it checked out. Make sure he also checks the rib edges since it is a sharp pain.

2intercostal neuralgia
3gastroesphageal reflux
4from heart
5from lungs and pleura
so if you want to find out what is causing your pain get it checkd.

See ur Pcp : Left sided chest pressure could be cardiac related if this is exertional. Will advise you to see a cardiologist to get evaluated.

Needs evaluation: Most of us learn that left-sided chest pain might mean a heart attack, but it is usually with exertion--not lying on your left side. Inflammation of the heart surface or pericarditis can be a cause of positional chest pain as can mitral valve prolapse. You should see your doctor promptly for an evaluation. Good wishes:)

So if your chest pain keeps occurring again and again, especially if each time it seems worse and lasts longer, then you need to go to see a healthcare provider or the emergency room to get checked out.  Try some aspirin or ibuprofen to see if it will relieve your symptom presently.

Muscle/rib: Chances are if you poke something on or right under your chest and it hurts (or feels better) - you're poking a muscle, rib, or part of the cartilage in the ribs.  Try some ibuprofen, warm packs, and avoid poking.  We worry about left side of the chest because that's where the heart is... So it's always good to get examined by a doctor with weird pains in the chest.

See MD ; get Xray: Positional chest pain usually originates from the muscles, ribs, or cartilage of the chest wall.  In this setting, there is often a recent history of trauma.  If there is fever or cough, it may indicate pleurisy with pneumonia.  If there is shortness of breath and if the pain is worsened by breathing, one should consider pulmonary embolus or pericarditis.
