Medical evaluation: Have no idea how much vodka you drank. See you suffer from grave's disease & arrhythmia.  If you are suffering from acute chest pain i would seek evaluation at the nearest emergency room.

is it possible that propranolol is giving me chest pains and shortness of breath and sense of panic? started 40mg one a day dose 3 days ago

Accepted Answer

Unlikely: that the medication is responsible...In fact, Propranalol is often used to TREAT your symptoms. (The one exception is if you have asthma) Speak with your treating health professional (G.P. etc) about this unusual response!

5% minoxidil gives me mild to moderate chest pains and some arm tingling. would it be recommended to work up to a full dose, try 2% or cease usage?

The Sun Also Rises: That stuff gives you vellus hair, that's fine and soft and doesn't look anything like regular adult hair.As far as I'm concerned it's a waste of time. Not everyone thinks that, however.But in your case trading vellus hair for chest pains and arm tingling (if truly associated) is a losing wager.I'd rather bet that the sun will rise in the West tomorrow.Get a proper exam by a qualified doc for this.

Mononucleosis?: Has your doctor tested you for mono? Chest pain with right upper quadrant pain--- could indicate pneumonia of right lower lobe of lung ( can be a manifestation of mono).

Chest pain?: Sporadic chest pain , sharp is considered as non-specific pain.
I wish i knew how high was your cholesterol. 
Need to see pcp.

i took one dose of vitamin k2 (mk7) and it has caused awful side effects (heart fluttering, chest pains, headaches, dizziness and facial flushing) i took the pill four days ago and still have symptoms. how long does it take for the vitamin to leave?

: Using ordinary doses, the vitamin should be long out of your system.  Please see your doctor to address the remaining symptoms.    Seeing your doctor is preferable to urgent care, but you may also go to urgent care if usual MD is not available

Different indication: Aspirin is recommended in doses in the 81-325/ day for prevention of cardiovascular events- heart attacks, strokes. Higher doses 1-4 g, are used for anti inflammatory effects- migraine or arthritis, for example. Hope it helps.

Frightened: You're frightening yourself! The dose of Flagyl is broad with much higher doses used for some infections. Adverse effects, when they occur are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain - not chest, arm, and shin pain. You're upset - be reassured: it's okay!
