Clue is in your Hx.: You need to follow up with your provider. You have had endoscopy before, so perhaps you have a history of gastritis, reflux, ibs, or ulcers. This situation may become worse during the premenstrual time. To be sure please get a consult!

It : It is very difficult to determine if your period has started based on one spot of blood. Your menses (period) may start with light spotting and eventually progress to a heavier flow, sex can frequently get the flow started so to speak if your menses due. 
Based on the date of this post, you may have already begun your regular menstrual bleeding, if not i recommend you take a home pregnancy test or have one done in your doctor's office.

Spotting : Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections &  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

i just got my period and when i go to use the bathroom i can feel the blood spill out and at the bottom of the toilet there is dark red almost look black syrupy blood. i am concerned about this. what could this mean?

Usually normal: Dark blood suggest that the blood is old. The old blood probably has mucous mixed with it and this can give a syrupy appearane. This is normal. Every period is not the same in the amount of flow or the color. I suggest you see  how your other periods go. This sounds normal but if you are concerned don't hesitate to cal your doctor.

Irregular periods: Irregular periods can occur and can be normal. Best to monitor your cycle over the next 2-3 months. If it continues to be irregular, seek medical attention. If concerned for pregnancy, take an over the counter test. Also, consider alternate birth control method such as spermicides, birth control pills, etc.

3 possibilities: Vaginal bleeding and cramping 11 days after your period ends is likely to be implantation bleeding as the fertilized egg implants itself into the uterus. The bleeding is very scant and usually doesn't last more than a day or two. 

Abnormal bleeding can also be due to hormonal causes. Early miscarriage is a possibility.

ER: It is bleeding but from where and why. Its important to go to an ER now, you need to see a gastroenterologist to get a proper diagnoses

how long does the smell from the solutions used during a colpo last? its been almost a month and i can still smell the vinegar when i use the bathroom. probiotics arent working and i just started my period so i cant douche. please help?
