Follow science: It could be wrong but i would review the the culture. Bumps on genitals are more likely to be herpes. If the treatment for the virus cures the bumps then it is probably not bacterial.

Herpes?: Herpes can show up anywhere. There are several strains, and you can't determine which type it is without a swab. Herpes would come and go in the same place.  I suppose it could be a form of pustular eczema. A dermatologist would be able to tell the difference.

Yes: The transmission of herpes is not 100% with contact but increases with any breaks in skin or contact with mucosal membranes.  One could potentially "auto-inoculate" or spread the herpes virus to different parts of their body this way.

Herpes: Herpes simplex can develop anywhere on the body. Wherever the virus is inoculated into the skin. The eruption looks like a group of small (1-2mm) vesicles on an erythematous base. If you have this see your doctor because there is medication that will fight the virus.

: No. There is little or no transmission risk except by sex (if you have genital herpes), or by intimate kissing or oral sex if your infection is oral herpes (cold sores, fever blisters).

Unrelated: The leg and hip pain are unrelated to the herpes. Have the issue evaluated either by a rheumatologist or orthopedist.
