However, you may wait and watch, the lump, which may be a lymphnode. You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor

Possibly: See your Dentist to rule out infection of teeth and supporting tissues.  See your PCP to rule out ear or other infection.

Probably not.: Many (most?) cases of dizziness in adults are not related to infection.  As an ENT doctor, i often see dizzy patients that have been misdiagnosed elsewhere with ear infections (otitis media).  With that said, ear infections and some sinus infections can indeed cause dizziness; dental infections should not cause dizziness.  The best way to be sure is to see an ENT doctor.

my partner has pain all down her mouth her ear is apparently slightly inflamed could this be why or could it be dental?

Check both out: Your partner could be having a tooth problem, a gum problem, a jaw joint problem (tmj),  an ear problem, or a combination of all.  I would start at the dentist to examine the teeth and jaw joint, for an initial diagnostic screening.

is it possible that having novacaine shots for dental work could have done damage to a nerve that now causes ring in my ear?

Not unless: Not unless as a side effect of the injection or procedure you also have a TMJ problem (jaw clicking, limited or painful opening, painful chewing). If you have these other symptoms, see TMJ expert.

after  dental. work  i am having major ear pain and pressure  what can i do to alleviate this? are there  medications  i can take?   i am terminally

More info needed: What type of work? Extraction? Root canal therapy? Deep fillings? OTC anti-inflammatory meds will help, but you should consult with the dentist who treated you.

can dental work be the cause of an ear ache?

Possibly: Having your mouth open for a long period of time may cause in the jaw joint (TMJ) and the muscles that work the jaw to become painful.  There is only a thin wall of bone between the ear and the joint so pain in the joint may feel like an ear ache.  Either way you should see your doctor or dentist for appropriate treatment.

Lymph nodes: React to infection and other issues, as they are the receptacles of drainage from an adjacent problem.  Your answer is : likely the same nodes.  The cervical (neck)  nodes under the lower jaw are responsible for accepting exudates from dental infections/problems and also ear issues. If you have sore / symptomatic nodes see your pcp and/or dentist for eval to figure out the source!

i got a dental cleaning procedure done. is it normal for your jaw and ear to hurt? my head is hurting like i have a fever pain is worse when look down

Get it checked: It is not usual, however you may be having issues related to having your mouth open for an extended period of time. You should consult the dentist.
