Confusion: Everybody has a pair of each of chromosomes number 1 through 22, and most folks have a pair of sex chromosomes (women xx men xy).  The XXY karyotype in a man usually confers infertility and some other things that make him different, xyy's tend to be tall and have acne ; there's some myths. It's really his business ; perhaps there's a misunderstanding. Best wises.

Why was test done ?: Associations between genetic pattern and behavior are co-relates.
I would be cautious about such interpretations.
Autism specrum disorders and such similar entities, still seem to have a multi factorial etiologies.
It woould be too simplistic to explai it on one mutation per se.

Depends: Some extra chromosomes are incompatible with life.  Some extra chromosomes may be associated with mental retardation and congenital deformities.  Some extra chromosomes may be associated with behavioral problems.  Some extra chromosomes may not cause any noticeable problems.

Rearrangement: An inversion occurs when a portion of a chromosome breaks then rearranges itself. It can happen in many places on the chromosome. The effects can be significant or nonsignificant depending on that section of the chromosome and what it controls.they usually do not cause any abnormalities as long as the rearrangement is balanced with no extra were missing DNA.

Not enough info: The most important piece of information here is that the baby had a heart beat. The risk of miscarriage goes down when a heart beat is seen. No predictions regarding outcome can be made. Follow up appointments will be needed.

Thrombophilia genes: Thrombophilia you refer to is the inheirited type of tendency to form blood clotting. This is due to certain gene defects affecting clotting factor levels necessary in the reactions for clot formation. Above average is a nebulous term. See a physician familiar with this or a hematologist to evaluate just what level is your risk. You will be asked about blood clot or miscarriages in family history.

what does it mean when your told you are normal carrier type negative slt3 and they talked about chromosome 16 my daughter passed from leukemia?

Needs clarifications: First, iwhat your doctor meant is that you had a normal karyotype, meaning your chromosomes were normal.  I'm guessing you were told you were negative for flt3, a mutation that can be seen in patients with AML and that is associated with a poor prognosis. Your daughter's oncologist is telling you that your daughter did not inherit her leukemia from you and your other children aren't at risk.
