Okay to use more: It would be okay to apply the ointment after bowel movements. Please note that it has steroids in it and may make the skin more prone to damage. Make sure that the child does not have hard stools. You may give the child fiber laxative, like Metamucil, and make sure she drinks enough water so that her urine is mostly colorless.

Depends: If this is recent you may have a virus which may just resolve on its own.  If it has been a long term problem review this withyour doctor and see if you need labs to check for anemia or blood in your stool or thyroid problems.   If you have recently been checked and told you were fine and not pregnant then it will probably resolve on its own.

: Could be food poisoning. Make sure you are drinking lots of fluids and electrolytes, eat a bland, basic diet for a few days (bananas, rice, apples, toast/crackers), avoid any dairy, fatty meals or spicy foods. The illness should pass in a few days.

You're not abnormal: Irregularity is common & does not necessarily signal abnormality. Average stool pattern in america fits a bell-curve, ranging from 3 movements daily to one every 3-4 days. Try adding fiber (fruits, vegetables, whole grains) or commercial water soluble supplements to "regulate" stools. Raise concern if bleeding, weight loss, localizing abdominal pain or a personal/family history of colitis, cancer.

i have been getting bloated more and more latley  even if i don't eat but it gets worse after a bowel movement which i have every day why is that ?

Gas: If the bloating is due to gas,the question is whether you are forming excessive gas or are not passing normal amounts of gas. To reduce gas, try simethicone 1/2hour after meals. Drinking hot water helps break down trapped gas. You may  be gluten or lactose intolerant. A gastroenterologist is best qualified to evaluate and treat you if symptoms persist.

Repeat : Repeat the senekot as previously directed by your physician. If this does not work you can try an over the counter enema (fleet). Follow up with your doctor if these things are unsuccessful.
